In this episode I am doing a soulful rendition of “O Volvo Rusnak” in the Swedish Folkloric style. Dust off your clogs and sing along!

I am of Norse descent, and german descent. I liked hearing this even though I don’t understand it. Speaking of Vikings, if you havn’t read the edda Voluspa, I’d recommend it.

Learning all kinds of new things on this blog–about Volvo (i.e., bad company), about Freya (i.e., can sing and play guitar), about Vikings (i.e., Swedes).

Freya, that was riveting. Keep on rockin. Or cloggin. Good job!

    Great blog:

Freya – you rock! I was invited and attended Rusnak’s Christmas party 2 years ago. Quite the shindig! I’ve owned 5 Volvo’s in my lifetime, and I loved them all – especially the Bertone(2)!

I don’t know about Volvo – but your song is amazing; your rendition is fabulous! You deserve a Rolls Royce for this song! – hope somebody with the means does that for you…Just loved the style and the rendition.

I was a parking valet for a while. I always liked the way Volvos handled, but then I never drove one for more than a few hundred feet.

This is so funny and cute. So are you. I love your helmet.

That was fun! I was just writing a blog post for this week about guitars, and I ran into this by coincidence. I like the subject. Awesome helmet! I just scored a cool helmet kind of like that (some pics on http://facebook.com/couchsurfingori in the fantasy-fest album).

    Good story telling via song.

Love your helmet. You are a hottie with a sense of humor. So does every Swedish American have one of those helmets?

I can relate. Had similar prob with Lincoln LS trans. As Ford and Volvo often shared parts — with similar customer treatment regarding faulty vehicles — I empathize.

Wish I had set up a web page like this to help solve my transmission issues. Now driving a Lexus. No more probs.

No VOLVO for me. It was Volvo or Honda, after this video, I chose the Honda.

Sorry about the car problems…that really sucks too when customer service is nil.

Wagner would have added this to the Ring Cycle, or it might have made the Elder Edda. Pretty slick material. As one of Nordic descent it calls to the ancient blood, although I had a LeCar that gave me fits and not a Volvo.
