I just started a consumer activism campaign to make Rusnak Volvo replace the faulty transmission they put in my Volvo. Since they refuse, I intend to use all the tools in my arsenal to make them change their mind. I encourage and welcome you to share similar stories you may have had with Volvo or Rusnak Volvo on my Facebook page as well as to follow my ride on Twitter @RusmackedVolvo.
Freya,
Best of luck with your campaign. It always sucks to see things like this happen; unfortunately, it seems like these kinds of problems happen more than often than we’d all like.
Don’t give in!
Best,

Good luck with everything! I wish I had the creativity to do something like this when my 35,000 mile old Hyundai Sonata started having all kinds of ridiculous problems – sometimes big corporations just don’t care about their customers, or notice them enough TO care.
I hope that they wake up and actually do something to fix your problem – a Volvo definately runs more expensive than my $18,000 Sonata, and as such deserves to not be a lemon even more!
A breath of fresh air Freya !!
May the power of the army, keep growing , as the word gets out, many years ago, as my freind lamented one day, that his recently purchased “good used volvo” needed a four dollar part, that cost 1200 to install, as I drove off in my big block dodge, I thought”this old dodge needs a lot of four dollar Parts, but at least it RUNS, best of luck to you sweet trouble, my heart is with you!!!!
god bless
sincerely jeff
